MEMBER HIGHLIGHT
People USA
People USA is a peer-run mental health non-profit that creates, provides, and promotes its own innovative crisis response, and wellness services. People USA runs and operates Peer Crisis Respite, Crisis Stabilization, and other behavioral health services.
Being peer-run means that all our services are developed and operated by people who have personally overcome mental health issues, addiction, or trauma. This makes us a valuable addition and alternative to the traditional behavioral health care system.
People USA’s unique, peer-led models are proven to significantly reduce hospital utilization, incarceration rates, and overall healthcare spending.
People USA has supported over 30,000 individuals on their unique recovery journeys since our founding. More than 5,000 people each year connect with us to work on behavioral health and overall wellness. Since creating Rose House, People USA has diverted well over 20,000 hospital days.
