Heather Honaker, MS, LPC, NCC, is a licensed and nationally certified behavioral health professional based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Heather received her BS in Psychology and MS in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. With over nine years of experience in the behavioral health field, Heather has served a diverse population of individuals with a focus on improving the treatment experience and outcomes of those experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Heather works to navigate the changing landscape of crisis services through research, advocacy, and networking with fellow crisis residential providers. Heather enjoys spending time with her growing family and traveling to find the world’s best donuts.
