Project: Crisis Residential Accreditation Development
Project Overview
The Crisis Residential Association seeks a qualified agency or company to assist in the development of an accreditation for crisis residential programs. The accreditation will serve as a standardized framework for assessing the quality and effectiveness of crisis residential programs.
Project Scope
The project will involve the following key activities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify existing accreditation standards and best practices in the field of crisis residential care and crisis/peer respite.
- Volunteer Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment of a committee of experts in crisis residential care to develop the accreditation standards.
- Committee Meetings: Organize and lead monthly committee meetings (1.5 hours/month) for 8 months (March 2025 - October 2025) to develop and refine the accreditation standards.
- Accreditation Standards Development: Compile the recommendations from the committee into a final draft of the accreditation standards, due by December 1st, 2025.
- Implementation Data Gathering, Interpretation, and Recommendations: In the following year, gather and analyze data related to the implementation of the accreditation standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Direct Consultation with CRA Board: Provide regular consultation with the CRA board throughout the project to ensure alignment with the association's goals and priorities and provide consultation on project implementation.
Project Budget
The total project budget is $25,000, which will be billed at an hourly reimbursement rate. If additional funding becomes available from the CRA, the contractor shall also assist in the development of an accreditation for crisis and peer respite programs.
Proposal Requirements
Proposals should include the following:
- Agency/Company Qualifications: Describe the agency or company's experience and expertise in accreditation development, crisis residential care, and quality assurance.
- Project Approach: Outline the proposed methodology for conducting the research, recruiting volunteers, leading committee meetings, developing standards, and gathering/analyzing implementation data.
- Timeline: Provide a detailed project timeline outlining key deliverables and milestones.
- Budget: Submit a detailed budget outlining the hourly rate and estimated hours for each project activity.
- References: List references of previous projects similar to this one.
